In 1975 a virtually complete 4th century Roman corn-drying oven of unusual design was discovered by the East Hertfordshire Excavation Group in the Redlands gravel quarry at Foxholes Farm, just to the south east of Hertford, this booklet tells the story of the Roamn Cron Dryer, which is now part of Hertford Museum collection
