A late night opening to see the Alfred Russel Wallace exhibition and experience Wallace's Indonesia through live music and light bites. A free evening for adults celebrating Indonesian food, music and culture alongside some of the specimens that Alfred Russel Wallace found there.

‘The World of Wallace’ at Hertford Theatre
An evening of illustrated talks on Alfred Russel Wallace with Errol Fuller and Dr Sandra Knapp

Wednesday 15th January 2014
7.30 pm with interval

Errol Fuller will discuss Wallace and the curious 19th century social phenomenon that guided his life. Errol is an artist, writer and expert on the History of Natural History. He has most recently joined forces with Sir David Attenborough to produce the book "Drawn from Paradise".

Dr Knapp will talk about Wallace's life and explorations in the Amazon. Head of Plants Division at the Natural History Museum, Sandra is an expert on the classification of the nightshade family and has researched extensively around the world.
